Consent Policy
Consent Policy
Last updated 8 August 2026. This page is a plain-language summary and has not yet had formal legal review — treat it as a good-faith starting point, not a final legal document (see LAUNCH-CHECKLIST.md).
When you register, you're asked about two separate consents. They're independent — agreeing to one never implies the other.
1. Data Storage Consent — required
This is required to create an account at all. It covers storing your account details, appointments, case-taking answers, and prescriptions so the platform can function — Dr. Priyanka and, where relevant, clinic staff can access what their role needs to provide your care.
2. AI Processing Consent — optional
This is a separate opt-in. If you don't check this box, your case data is never sent to any AI tool — the doctor still reviews your case, just without AI-assisted organizing/summarizing. You can register and use the platform fully without opting in to this.
How consent is recorded
Every consent you give is recorded with a timestamp and a version number tied to the policy text you actually saw. If the policy changes materially, you'll be asked to re-consent rather than having your old consent silently carried forward.
Withdrawing consent
You can request account deletion any time from your dashboard's "Your Data & Privacy" page, which is reviewed by an admin. There's currently no separate toggle to withdraw just the AI-processing consent after registration without contacting the clinic directly — flagged here honestly rather than implying a self-service toggle that doesn't exist yet.
